Trusted Painters respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit trustedpainters.com.au, request a quote, contact us or use a Google lead form for our painting services.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including your name, phone number, email address, postcode or property address, painting requirements, preferred timeframe and messages. If you become a customer, we also keep information needed to organise and administer your project, such as quotes, correspondence and service records. Please do not include sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.

Our website and advertising tools may collect technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device information, pages visited and interactions with forms or advertisements. Cookies and similar technologies may be used for website operation, analytics and advertising measurement.

How we collect and use information

We collect information directly from you through website forms, Google-hosted lead forms, phone calls, email and other communications. We use it to respond to your enquiry, discuss your project, prepare quotes, arrange painting services, communicate about your booking, maintain business records and protect our website from misuse.

We also use website and advertising information to understand which pages and campaigns generate enquiries and to improve our services. Submitting a quote request allows us to contact you about that request; it does not give permission for unrelated or excessive marketing. You can ask us to stop promotional communications at any time.

Google lead forms, analytics and call measurement

When you submit a Google lead form, Google provides your submitted details to Trusted Painters so we can respond. Google’s own privacy policy also applies to its handling of information:

https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Our website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement tools, managed in part through Google Tag Manager. These tools help measure visits, successful enquiries and advertising performance. Google call reporting may use a forwarding number to measure advertising-related calls and information such as call time and duration. This policy does not describe call measurement as a recording of the conversation.

You can manage cookies through your browser and Google advertising preferences at https://myadcenter.google.com/. Restricting cookies may affect website features or measurement.

Who can receive information

Relevant team members and service providers may access information where needed to respond to enquiries and provide our services. Providers can include website hosting, customer-management, email and SMS services, Google, and contractors involved in your project. We may also disclose information where required or permitted by law. We do not sell information submitted through our lead forms or provide it to data brokers.

Some technology providers, including Google, operate internationally and may process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they or their service providers operate. Contact us if you would like information about the providers involved in handling your enquiry.

Storage, security and retention

Enquiry and customer information is held in the website, customer-management and communication systems used for our business. We take reasonable steps to restrict access and protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including managing enquiries, providing services and meeting record-keeping or legal obligations. When information is no longer needed and there is no requirement to retain it, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

Access, correction and privacy concerns

You can contact us to request access to, or correction of, your personal information, ask about deletion, stop promotional contact, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Some records may need to be retained for legal or business obligations.

Please describe your concern and how you would like us to respond. We will review it and aim to respond within 30 days, or explain if more time is needed. If you remain dissatisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at https://www.oaic.gov.au/ to ask about available complaint options.

Updates

We may update this policy when our practices or services change. The current version and update date will be published on this page.
